Diver Courses

There are a number of courses that can be taken at Perhentian Island Divers. They are all PADI course run by qualified PADI instructors. All students will be issued with the appropriate PADI certificate upon successful completion of the course. All courses are lifetime valid and are internationally recognized.

3. Advanced Open Water Diver

Outline: This is the next step from Open Water Diver. There is not much study, mostly It just diving. Students learn skill such as Underwater Navigation and become qualified to dive to 30M.

Prerequisites: Must be PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent. Students must be over 12 years old.

Length of course: 2-3 days.

Overview: Students must answer some questions in the manual. Students must compare 5 open water dives. Known as Adventure Dives. These Include: Underwater Navigation, Deep Diver are usually Wreck Diver. Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Naturalist, although others are available such as Underwater photography.

Materials included: PADI Adventures in Diving Manual. PADI application PIC. Rental of all of required equipment.

Cost: RM 950.00

Sales Notes: Stress lack of classroom work. Mostly fun diving can do as many or few of the dives as they wish. But need to complete 5 dives to qualify. All Adventure Dives are certified by an instructor.
